Capture anything you see on your computer monitor!

What are the system requirements? CopyScreen runs on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.

How long can I use the trial version? The trial version is for evaluation purpose only. All of the features are enabled for 7 days. After that, if you think CopyScreen is useful and you want to keep it, you need to obtain a registration key. Otherwise it will stop functioning.

If CopyScreen is not for me, can it be uninstalled? CopyScreen has an uninstall function to easily uninstall the application if that is your desire (but after seeing how easy it is to use, we don't think you will).

I just downloaded a Trial Version and I can't find where I put it to install it. To locate the folder where a Trial Version is stored, follow the route:
1. Start, Find, Files or Folders.
2. In "Named:" field enter "copyscreen.*"
3. Click "Find Now" button.
Your desktop will search for the program in the system, usually Drive C. Once you have located the appropriate file, you can either go to the folder using Windows Explorer and double-click on the file name, or select "Start, Run" and use "Browse." button to select it.

How Does CopyScreen Work? Here are some screen captures (done with CopyScreen) which show how to use CopyScreen software. So, first, start CopyScreen from your Programs list or from your desktop.

To capture a part of your window, press the "Click Here to Capture Region"

"Drag" your mouse over the area on your monitor that you want to copy. After you select the area, click OK and then chose to save the image as a file or add it to your clipboard to be pasted elsewhere.

If you would like to save everything that is on your computer monitor, then you will want to first decide if you want the image to be taken immediately or with a delay. We recommend the delay of 5 seconds as that will permit you to remove the mouse cursor and get a "clean" picture of the monitor.

Once that is done, simply click the "Click Here To Capture the Entire Screen" button and save to file or clipboard as you would a capture of a region.

By clicking the View option, you can see the last .jpg or .bmp you saved by clicking one of the two file types. .jpg files will open your browser for viewing the file and bmp files will open Paint which is an accessory file provided with Windows.

It's that simple! It's a valuable tool to add to your software collection. Usable in so many ways. In obvious ways, and in ways you can't think of now which will only become apparent when you say to yourself "I wish I could take a picture of what's on my screen".
